Yesterday in the game show world, 2 marvelous hosts celebrated birthdays. Monty Hall who hosted Let's Make a Deal for years and other shows such as Beat the Clock and other small duds that didn't do well turned 90 yesterday. I really enjoyed Monty's hosting of LMAD and Beat the Clock. He is great and I'm glad he's still around. Don't know how he's doing but last I heard he was doing great.
And Regis Philbin of Who Wants To Be a Millionaire fame turned 80. I've enjoyed Regis' hosting. Although most people on the GSN boards hate him, I love him. Glad to still see him on reruns on GSN in Millionaire and Million Dollar Password.
