Pyramid franchise very much, in the game show field. People love
The $25,000 Pyramid very much as well. And when people think of
Pyramid they think of Dick Clark. Well, Dick Clark was the first
Pyramid host. But he was not the host of
The $25,000 Pyramid. Nope, Bill Cullen was the first.
He hosted the Syndicated version of the show from September 1974-1979. It was billed as
The $25,000 Pyramid. It was a weekly show. I thought Bill did pretty good. Did better than Davidson IMHO. Dick Clark played a couple times as a celebrity. I liked it very much.
